I remember loving the salad buffet but I know that we always went for the Family style sit down dinner complete with all those things grandma used to make (mashed taters, green beans and swiss steak). As I recall as a kid, the experience of feeding the fish and watching the ducks was always way more exciting than the actual food.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14254236015068301618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071271370948632728.post-74598387720809482782009-05-24T19:54:54.444-04:002009-05-24T19:54:54.444-04:00Hey Karen --

Unfortunately, they weren't open at that time. Otherwise, you would've had a tri-fecta of Wooster entries. :) I'll get there soon though.

To buffet or not buffet? That is a question I always entertain when I go someplace like this. I distinctly remember walking in and after seeing the buffet thinking that today was more of a "order off the menu" kind of day.Tinohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07230553378930796656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4071271370948632728.post-48402022669048023512009-05-24T19:47:32.992-04:002009-05-24T19:47:32.992-04:00I've been there (though it has been at least 15 ye...I've been there (though it has been at least 15 years ago) and recommend that you do the buffet. It's a much better deal.

I had to goodsearth this place because there is another place with a similar name in the area and found out it is Pine Tree Barn. PTB is only open for lunch (11-2:30), but has the same furniture, gift shop stuff that The Barn has.

When in Wooster, you should try the South Market Bistro. The owner/chef also has a new steak place.

-Karen

http://www.southmarketbistro.com/Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
